So who is this Kevin McKeever?

Kevin McKeever owns Write On, Kevin!, a one-man shop that specializes in clear, concise business writing for individuals and businesses -- big and small.

Before starting his own business, Kevin helped create the employee communications program for Centex Homes, a Top 3 residential builder in the United States at the time. He successfully managed that program for nearly nine years, the last three of which he did as a telecommuter 1,500 miles away from the corporate office.

Prior to that, Kevin toiled as a journalist for daily newspapers. He won several state awards for features writing and general reporting during those years. His publication credits include USA Today, Canada's Globe and Mail, and The New York Daily News. He has appeared on Katie Couric's Katie talk show and on Connecticut Public Radio.

In 2008, he started blogging about his adventures as a work-at-home father on Always Home and Uncool. His work there earned him places on many "Top Parent Blogger" lists, including being named to Babble.com's "Parent Blogging Hall of Fame."

For 12 years, he wrote the "Party of One" op-ed column with humor and honesty for The Stamford Advocate, a Hearst Connecticut Media Group newspaper. The National Society of Newspaper Columnists honored him with first-place for general interest column in 2013. His columns have also earned him multiple first-place writing honors from the CT Press Club and Connecticut chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

In November 2012, the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop in Ohio honored him as its "humor writer of the month.
